In 1972, Architect, Gerald F. DeMarco took his dream of owning a firm and turned it into a legacy! From small beginnings, Jerry formed his first architectural firm amongst friends in Pennyslviana until relocating to Florida in 1979. He would move to pursue new opportunities in Architecture, obtain his MBA, and re-establish his firm, DeMarco & Associates in 1981.
For over 50 years, Jerry’s designs & solutions impacted cities across Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and the Caribbean. In 2020, Jerry passed his torch to a younger group of associates to keep his legacy alive.
Today GFD Group Miami LLC. is Women Owned, Veteran Owned, & Minority Owned by co-owners Jacqueline James, Ph.D., P.E. and Dorota Lopez, M.Arch, C.G.C.
